ITE IT8212 ATA-RAID-Controller
Als Schnittstelle zwischen dem System und dem IDE-Gerät fungiert der IDE-RAID-Controller, der mit der ATA/ATAPL-6-Spezifikation kompatibel ist und die IDE-RAID-0/1/0+1-Funktion unterstützt. Es unterstützt nicht nur einen Scatter/Gather-DMA-Mechanismus, der mit der Programming Interface for Bus Master IDE Controller Revision 1.0 kompatibel ist, sondern auch 2 IDE-Kanäle und bis zu 4 IDE-Geräte.
